Approval from the Water Authority is required in order to construct, install, alter or remove a plumbing installation. Plumbing installation that is not to receive water supply from the Waterworks does not need the approval of the Water Authority. However, it is advisable for the plumbing installation to follow the Waterworks requirements such that when a supply from th Waterworks becomes necessary, the modification of the plumbing installation to comply with the Waterworks requirements will be minimized.
